The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the individuals, families and communities we serve, through programs and services that build wholeness of spirit, mind & body. The YMCA is a not-for-profit organization founded on Christian principles, serving people of all ages, races, faiths, cultures and socio-economic conditions.

Fanwood Scotch Plains YMCA web presence was dull, disorganized, and not at all visually appealing. The current YMCA website was static and extremely hard to update. Items of interest seemed to be just thrown onto the site as if it were a dart board. A local internet consultant, Chuck Beardsley, of Soal Marketing, helped them understand that it was high time that they serve their customers well online, as well as at the facility.

Fanwood Scotch Plains YMCA simply needed some organization, and a platform that would assist them in adding, updating, and presenting their extensive community offerings. The restriction and guidelines were narrow and frustrating, from what was allowed as menu items, to exactly what hue the colors red, green, yellow, and blue had to be - but we think the outcome is pretty outstanding.
